2 or a 3? I don't know, so I'll say 2 1/5. This is the first book in this series that I didn't like that much. I didn't hate it, but whether I could say I liked it is also another matter. It's an Okay, nothing more. HOWEEEEEVER, I can say I disliked the female main lead distinctly, she annoyed me, while the male lead was boring. I won't give up on this series after one let down, because I did like the precursors, so onto the next one and hopefully my faith in this series will be restored.

She is full of tattoos from previous lives which show her the way.Poor silent Amun He avoids talking because every time that he talks secrets are exposed and friends are killing each other and wars start and many melodramatic bloody things are happening. As a result he is using sign language. Aeron and William took Amun into Hell on a rescue mission to save Legion, who is now changed and she is not an ugly demon minion anymore. Legion is a beautiful demon minion now and deeply ruined after so much time in Hell and in other demons retention. She had made a really bad deal and she had to pay. The problem is that Amun returns in a much worst condition. The silent warrior is back and hundreds of demons are back with him, eating him from inside, destroying his soul.The Angel warriors are at the Lords castle uninvited and they are waiting to kill Amun if nothing changes. Lords are ready to fight and save their best friend. Deep at the dungeons of Lords castle Amun and Haidee meet and Haidee will think that Amun is her long lost boyfriend Micah. They are almost identical. So, she will try to save them both from the ruthless Lords. Amun will find peace for the first time with Haidee. The voices will be silent:Only when Im with you do those things become manageable.Wariness fell over her lovely features like a curtain, but she didnt attack. Why me?I have no idea.And he will want her frantically:Amun hadnt had a lover in a very long time, but he hadnt forgotten the basics, and hed never been so driven by instinct. Touch, taste, possess, own.After all the misunderstandings are clear, Amun and Haidee will need to leave for the great mission. They have to go back to Hell and put all these demons back!If Hadee is ice, Amun is fire. They complete each other. One of the nicest love stories in LOTUs world. He gave her what no one else had ever been able to give. A past to cherish. A present to enjoy. A future to anticipate. And he wanted her, too. She knew he did.Not even Strider could destroy their love and he will lose this challenge. Striders turn to fall in love will come in the next bookbut his lovestory will start in this book.What can I say? I loved everything in this book, however I am a huge fan so I am easily pleased ;)

4 ½ stars Paranormal RomanceI enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would, especially considering that I was somewhat disappointed with the last book, The Darkest Lie, and since Amun has always been a rather quiet (pun intended), serious, and less charismatic Lord. But color me pleasantly surprised by my enjoyment with this one. Amun and Haidee have magnetic chemistry and explosive sexual tension, and their mutual longing and desperate need to belong was palpable, touching, and sad. The romance between them is wildly passionate, sweet, sexy, beautifully moving, fierce, and achingly tender, all at the same time. And did I mention HOT? Whew!And I loved all the humorous buddy moments with Strider (his cocky arrogance cracks me up!), William, and Paris ribbing each other. I can't wait for their books! This is a fun, smokin' hot, satisfying addition to the LOTU series. 4 ½ stars!

4 Fire And Ice Stars!This is the seventh book in the Lord of the Underworlds series. Amun and Haidee's story. Amun is the keeper of secrets. Every person he comes in contact with he absorbs all of their secrets. So many secrets this man keeps inside of him that he is afraid to open his mouth and spill so many things that could cause harm. Amun uses sign language with his brothers. During the last book when Amun, Areon and William visited Hell to rescue Legion Amun's body absorbed many many demons. He's lost and wants nothing but to die. He's burning up inside with all the evil churning and churning in his body. That is until Haidee is put in the room beside him. Haidee can hear Amun in her mind. He wants her to come to him. She makes all the demons in his body hide. Haidee is confused by this but she claws her way through a hidden door between their rooms. Finally Amun is at peace. His fire has died. He never wants Haidee to leave him. Haidee is furious. She is a hunter. She's been hunting and killing these demons most of her life. She thinks Amun is her boyfriend Micah. They look just a like. Haidee can't stop the rage that is going through her body every time she looks at Amun and sees how beaten and bloody he is. She wants to kill every Lord for doing this to her boyfriend. Imagine her surprise when Strider enters the room and calls him Amun. Haidee is confused. But she can't help how she reacts to Amun. Haidee is the Hunter that lured their fellow friend to his death. She is all of the Lords enemy. She let the hunters use her as bait. Amun can't think about how he reacts towards Haidee. He knows he should want to kill her but he can't do anything but protect her. These two had a very long journey ahead of them. There was plenty of secrets and action going on in this book because they had to take a trip back to hell. Do they figure out how to get rid of all the demons in Amun's body? What happens in Hell when Amun and Haidee are there? Is Haidee human or does she have secrets of her own? Will Amun's brothers come to except Haidee or will they kill her no matter how Amun feels about her?I loved Haidee and Amun! She was ice and he was fire. She was strong and would do anything to protect Amun. I loved that Amun could not read Haidee's secrets but he could speak to her in her mind. Not that she always listened to what ever he told her to do. lolOnce again we also get to visit the other Lords journeys. William is on a mission and I can't wait to get more of that in future books. Paris has seen a ghost and is hell bent on seeing that ghost again. Hopefully he can stop drinking himself into a coma long enough to figure it out. We also got a lot of Strider keeper of defeat in this story. I can't wait. He has one crazy Harpy named Kaia gunning for him. I'm excited to begin their journey! It's the next book! I don't know how I'm going to feel when I'm at the end of all the books in this series that are out and will have to wait like everyone else for the next one. I'm loving them all so much!
